Skyline's Fashion Marketing cluster is a premier career and technology program that focuses on the marketing aspect of the fashion industry: from the textile development phase to promotion to sales.

The program consists of 4 major areas:

Retailing - This is a one semester pre-cluster class that teaches the students about entrepreneurship through the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE).  The students develop a product/service and write a business plan to support it.

Fashion Marketing I - Students learn the functions of marketing, the marketing mix, sales procedures, the basics of image consulting, and about various careers in the fashion industry.

Fashion Marketing II - Students enter into a dual-credit program through El Centro Community College.  The focus is on Fashion Promotion and Visual Merchandising during this first year.

Marketing Management - Second-year dual-credit students focus on the Principles of Retailing and Introduction to Fashion.  After completion of 21 hours of Fashion Marketing courses through El Centro, the students earn a Visual Merchandising Assistant Certificate.
